Remember that Windows Phone? Yea, I’m guessing you all do from my previous post. Raved about it, didn’t I?

It’s a great little device.

Like anything else, I’ll probably sell it now that I got a BlackBerry Q5.

Originally, the Q5 debuted around $499 unlocked a few months ago. Over time, the price went down cheap enough to where I ordered myself one.

It’s actually quite nice. It even has Android (Jelly Bean) as a runtime to run your favourite Android apps.

When installing an Android launcher, you can find Jelly Bean hidden inside BlackBerry.

 

Below is a sideloaded “.bar” file named “Snap” that allows you to install Android apps straight from the Google Play repo. (Direct APK installs are supported on BlackBerry 10.2.1.)

You can also install native BlackBerry 10 (QNX) apps via BlackBerry World too.

 

Oh, and, it’s a great communications device too. We’ll see how long I can keep this device without switching again.
